The Central Tennessee Tide Basketball program was established in 2013 in an effort to bring competitive travel basketball to the southern middle Tennessee region. In an ever-evolving travel sports culture, we felt that by taking a regional approach to assembling teams that could compete at the highest levels of travel basketball.
In 2017 that approach paid off in the National Exposure Basketball Nike National Championship where the 11th grade Tide girls team beat teams from Texas, Florida, California, Chicago, and New York to prevail as National Champions.
Based out of Manchester, Tennessee the Central Tennessee Tide provides a centralized location and convenient access for players and parents alike. Since 2015 the program has also helped "co-host" several local tournaments, now providing at least 7 opportunities to play local each year without having to leave Manchester.
The Tide program is athlete focused. This means we do not teach school systems, rather we teach the game in a fundamental manner that can translate into any high school or middle school programs efforts.
The Tide program also provides several opportunities for athletes to interact with Tide Alumni with various minicamps and skills clinics.
